Dee Dee Carman, RN, MSN, ARNP-C, FNP
I am fortunate to have been in practice with Dr. Jim Roach and staff at Midway Center for Integrative Medicine since 2002. I have been involved in the integrative approach to health care since Dr. Roach first initiated the concept. I have witnessed his zeal, research and methods to support and promote wellness in a proactive and family-friendly environment.
Personally, I have been married for over 50 years to a supportive husband, and I am a mother of four and a grandmother of six. I had 30 years of experience in critical care emergency nursing at Central Baptist Hospital before retiring to launch a second career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. My years in emergency nursing proved valuable in preparation for the challenges of primary care.
I am board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a nurse practitioner since 2000, and re-certified until 2020.
My focus of interest includes integrative medicine, diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism, women’s and men’s health, hormone replacement, and geriatrics.
My goal is to provide patient-centered comprehensive care as a primary care provider, patient care advocacy, and patient/family education. I am able to access referrals to specialty care professionals and community care resources for patients.
I am accepting new patients and able to care for you and your family with the same spirit and intent as “my own”. I look forward to meeting you!
